# Audit logs

> Review the history of actions taken by your organization's users, API keys and services

See who did what and when in your organization: publishing a workflow, signing in and other actions by users, operators, API keys and services. The section is **read-only**: Jelou records events automatically and you only browse them here.

## Logs screen

Go to **Settings** > **Audit logs**. There you will find the date range selector, the **Refresh** button, a search bar with filters and the table with all the logs. Clicking a row opens the detail panel.

### Date range

By default the **whole current day** is shown (00:00 to 23:59) in your time zone. To change it:

**1. Open the selector**

Click the date selector in the header.

**2. Choose the range**

Select the start and end dates and times. You can't pick future dates.

**3. Apply the range**

Close the selector. The range is applied only if you changed it.

### Refresh

Click **Refresh** to query the logs of the selected range again. Logs also refresh every time you enter the section.

### Logs table

| Column | Content |
| - | - |
| **Date** | Date and time in `YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm` format, in your time zone |
| **Actor** | Who performed the action: email, name, id or actor type |
| **Event** | Event type, for example `brain.publish` or `user.login` |
| **Detail** | Summary of the action: the affected resource and a few key values |
| **Source** | **Web**, **Mobile**, **API** or **System** |
| **IP** | IP address the request came from, or `—` if none was recorded |

The table has no actions column: click any row to see its detail.

If there are no logs, you will see "No records found for the selected period".

## Search and filter

The search bar combines three criteria, shown as chips:

| Filter | Chip | Behavior |
| - | - | - |
| Free text | **Name** | Partial, case-insensitive match over actor, event, source, detail and IP |
| Event | **Event** | Exact match with the event type. Suggestions are the events in the logs already loaded |
| Source | **Source** | **Web**, **Mobile**, **API** or **System** |

Filters are combined (all of them must match). Each type accepts a single value: a new chip replaces the previous one. Use the clear button to remove them all.

## Log detail

Click a row to open the detail panel. The title is the event type and the subtitle shows the date and the actor. It includes these sections:

| Section | Content |
| - | - |
| **Summary** | Log id, event, date, actor, organization, company, source, authentication method, MFA, IP and user agent |
| **Resource** | Affected resource: name, type and id, if any |
| **Related resources** | Other resources involved in the action |
| **Impersonation** | Real actor, when the action was done while impersonating another user |
| **Event details** | Additional event information as JSON, with the **Copy JSON** button |

> [!TIP]
>
> Use **Copy JSON** to share an event's detail with your security team or with support.
