# Limits and verticals

> Meta's limits for instructions, titles and descriptions, and the business verticals enabled for Meta Business Agent.

## Meta's limits

These limits are defined by Meta and apply to the Meta Business Agent configuration.

| Skill title | 64 characters | *Slug* style: lowercase, digits and hyphens, no trailing hyphen |

> **Source:** Meta API schema for `agent_config/skills` (`BizAIOmniChannelSkillsRequest`). Verified on **August 21, 2026** against the live API with `X-API-Version: 1.0.0`.

Examples of valid and invalid skill titles:

>
> The **no trailing hyphen** rule is Meta's, not a Jelou validation: a title ending in a hyphen is rejected by Meta's API with a `400` error.

>
> Write specific descriptions. The description is what the agent uses to decide when to invoke each tool: if it is vague, it will invoke it at the wrong moments or never invoke it at all.

## Enabled verticals

According to Meta's official documentation, these are the business verticals enabled for Meta Business Agent:

* Automotive
* Consumer packaged goods (CPG)
* Professional services
* Retail and ecommerce
* Travel

> This list reflects what Meta currently enables and may change on Meta's side. If your business does not clearly fit one of these verticals, validate eligibility before planning the implementation.
