Brain Studio lets you share your project with others without needing to deploy it to a production channel. You can generate a public link accessible to anyone, or start a private session via WhatsApp for controlled testing.

Access the sharing panel

In the top bar of the canvas, click the Share button. A popover will open with two tabs: Public and Private.
Access the sharing panel
Public mode generates a short link and a QR code that anyone can use to test your project without needing to log in.
1

Publish your project

If this is your first time sharing, you will see a message indicating that you must publish first. Click Publish and Share to create a version and generate the link in a single step.If you already have published versions, the button will say Public Link Active and will only generate the link based on the latest published version.
2

Copy the link or scan the QR

Once generated, you will see:
  • Short URL: click on it to copy it to the clipboard.
  • Code: short identifier for the link, also copyable.
  • QR Code: scan it with your phone’s camera to open the test directly.
The Public Link Active indicator (green dot) confirms that the link is working.

3

Share with your team

Send the link or QR to stakeholders, QA, or anyone who needs to test the flow. They do not need a Jelou account.
Use the public link for quick demos with clients or internal reviews. It is the fastest way to show your work without configuring channels.
If you need to disable access, click Unpublish inside the Public tab. The link will stop working immediately and anyone who tries to access it will see an error.

Revoking (Unpublishing) the link is irreversible. If you need to share again, you will need to generate a new link.

Private testing (WhatsApp Sandbox)

Private mode lets you send your project to a specific WhatsApp number for controlled testing directly in the real channel.
1

Select the Private tab

In the sharing popover, click the Private tab.
2

Enter the phone number

Type the WhatsApp number of the person who will test in international format (e.g. +593 99 123 4567). The system will validate that it is a valid number before allowing you to continue.
3

Start the test session

Click the send button (arrow). The system will:
  1. Publish your project if there are pending changes.
  2. Start a sandbox (test environment) session on WhatsApp.
  3. The user will receive a message on WhatsApp to begin the interaction.
Private testing requires your project to have a WhatsApp bot configured. If you don’t have one, see the WhatsApp activation guide.
