The Calls tab of Voice is the log of all your organization’s phone activity. Every call, inbound or outbound, is recorded with its outcome and its consumption.

The table

The listing is paginated and has a Filters button to narrow what you see.

Statuses

The statuses you’ll see most often are Completed, when the call ran and ended normally, and Unknown, when the outcome couldn’t be determined.
A call in Unknown status may appear with no duration and no credits. These are usually attempts that never got established.

A call’s detail

Opening a call reveals a panel with everything that happened in it. At the top it shows the number and the conversation ID (in the conv_... format), followed by a summary with the direction, status, duration, credits, and date.

Recording

Every call keeps its recording, which you can play from the panel itself with Play recording.

Transcript

Below it, the full transcript appears turn by turn, distinguishing what the agent said from what the customer said.
The transcript is the most direct tool for understanding why a call didn’t go as expected. Before touching the prompt, read three or four full transcripts: the problem almost always shows up at a specific point — a badly phrased question, a value the agent couldn’t interpret, a mishandled interruption — rather than in the prompt as a whole.
Recordings and transcripts contain what real people said, often including personal data. Treat them with the same care as any other customer data, and keep your local recording-notice obligations in mind: if your operation requires it, the place to say so is the agent’s first message.

What to look at in the log

The share of calls that didn’t complete. If it’s high on outbound calls, the cause is usually outside the agent: malformed numbers or ineffective time windows. Duration. Very short calls signal that people hang up at the start, which points to the first message. Calls that always approach the limit signal that the agent isn’t closing, which points to the End call tool. Credits against duration. Helps spot calls that are unusually expensive for their length.

From the CLI
