The version history lets you see all publications of your project, preview any version, compare changes, and restore a previous version whenever you need it.

Access the history

In the top bar of Brain, open the options menu in the upper right corner and select Version History. A side panel will expand with the list of versions sorted by date.

Each entry shows:
  • Date and time of publication
  • User who made the publication
  • Current badge on the version that is active in production

Preview and compare versions

Click the visibility icon next to any version to enter preview mode. The canvas will show the state of the project at that version without modifying your current draft, so you can compare the content of a previous version with the current one before deciding whether to restore it.
Previewing a version
Use preview mode to compare versions before restoring a previous one.

Restore a version

If you need to go back to a previous version, click Restore next to the desired version.
The Restore button is only shown when you are in preview mode.
Restoring a version
Restoring replaces the active version in production immediately. If you only want to explore the changes, use the visibility icon to preview.

How a new version is generated

Every time you publish changes from Brain, a new entry is automatically created in the history.
